Gracious God, as I am on my knees, I want to thank you for the weariness of a long day. Thank you for the obligations and duties I have. Thank you for the lists of errands to run, chores to do, and tasks to fulfill. Thank you for all of these things because it means that I have so much in this wonderful life to take care of. You have favored me to give me these precious responsibilities, and You’ve placed Your trust in me to take care of Your children. Help me to take on the challenges of each day with these words in my heart. In Christ’s name, I pray. Amen.
