Mighty God, thank you that you are my shield and my strength. You have promised that all who are weary and burdened, should come to you, and you will give rest. I ask that you give me rest this evening. May the word of Christ dwell in me richly, teaching me in all wisdom, and producing holiness in my heart that I may glorify you in my life. May I sleep with thankfulness in my heart to God. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
