Loving God, thank you for the gift of your Son Jesus, who was baptized in the River Jordan, filled by your Holy Spirit and revealed as your beloved Son. Bless this child who we baptize today, may they grow to know your presence. May they feel secure in your promise that you will never leave or forsake them. Let the majesty of the Father be the light that guides him/her, the compassion of the Son be the love that inspires him/her and the presence of the Spirit be the strength that empowers him/her. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
