Eternal God, please come alongside my friend in this time of physical suffering and remind my friend to exult Your glory and sing Your praises, even in the sickbed. May the high praises of God be in my friend’s mouth, for truly You inhabit the praises of Your people. May my friend use the two-edged sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, in this war against sickness and evil. Amen.
