Lord Jesus Christ, angels proclaimed that your birth was good news of great joy that would bring peace to the earth. You are the only true and lasting source of peace. My circumstances can change unexpectedly. My life can twist and turn in ways that I don’t understand. Any peace based on the world around me can crumble quickly but your peace never fails. Hear my prayer and give me lasting peace of mind today Lord. May your grace and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with me always. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
