Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for the honor and responsibility of leading your church. May I love people as you have loved me. May I speak truth to them as you have spoken truth to me. May I serve them as I have been served by you. May I set an example in speech, conduct and character. May I be filled with the joy of your spirit so that it overflows into the lives of others. In your mighty name, Amen.
