Mighty God, thank you that you are not a distant, far-off God but that you have revealed yourself to us. In the same way that you have graciously communicated with us, I ask that we would be able to communicate with each other graciously in this relationship. Guide me on the path of grace, mercy, compassion and forgiveness and protect me from selfishness and self-righteousness. May I find rest in your embrace. Help me to have the perseverance necessary to work on this relationship that it may be restored. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
