King of Kings, Lord of Lords, thank you that you are all-powerful, you can do anything you desire. Help me to lead your people effectively and compassionately. May I be an example to the church in your self-sacrificing love. You are the God of hope. Fill me with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit I may abound in hope. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
