Christ Jesus, please give my mind rest. It is overtaken with worries from the day, and I need to put those thoughts behind me. Help me to have an evening filled with laughter, contentment, and happiness as I look into the eyes of my children. Help me to show excitement about their day and be the mom that praises and sends encouragement all while enjoying their company. Lord, ease my overwhelmed spirit and weary body. Send down Your peace and clothe me in stillness. In Your name, I pray. Amen.
